Monnet Group has gained requisite technical experience and expertise in planning, designing, establishing, operating and maintaining Coal washing plants.
Monnet Daniel Coal Washeries Private Limited
Based on its experience Monnet has been selected by Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) to set up a coal washery of 4.2 MTPA capacity in North Karanpura region of CCL command area in the state of Jharkhand on Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis to supply beneficiated coal.
The project, based on Heavy Media Bath separation process, has been executed through the subsidiary Monnet Daniels Coal Washeries Private Limited (where Monnet is a majority stake holder). This plant is a state-of-the-art project with closed water circuit arrangement, high organic efficiency of 95%, and fully mechanized loading facility @ 2400 TPH.
J-Coal Washery
Monnet is also constructing another washery of 5.0 MTPA capacity in Orissa for our captive use, which is based on Varvwave Jig Technology, in technical collaboration with J-Coal (Japan Coal Energy Center) of Japan, and this washery is linked to our coal block Utkal B-2.
Raigarh Coal Washery
Monnet is constructing another washery of 2.5 MMTPA capacity for its Integrated Steel Plant at Raigarh. The project, based on Heavy Media Cyclone separation process, is a state-of-the-art project with closed water circuit and having high organic efficiency & fully mechanized loading facility.
Both the technologies used worldwide for beneficiation of coal, have been deployed at Monnet plants.
New Ventures
There are a number of coal beneficiation plants in pipeline and Monnet which include the following:
- 5 MTPA washery in Talcher Coalfields
- 5 MTPA washery in Ib valley Coalfields
- 5 MTPA washery in Korba Coalfields
