With development of experience and in house mining of under ground coal mines, Monnet Group has acquired skills in operation and maintenance of mines as per guidelines laid down by the DG Mines. In addition the capabilities also include the entire gamut of steps involved in Concept to Mining Solutions under one roof.
The in-house skilled manpower resources have delivered world class projects to both the Government and Public/Private sector undertaking. The strengths are derived from Know How generated in collaboration with famous internationally renowned coal consulting groups as follows:

Bidding for BOM Tenders of Public Sector Mines
As part of its initiative to provide expertise in coal washery operation & maintenance, Monnet Group has embarked into transferring the knowledge and skills for enhancing the production of the country.
The group has already participated in constructing of washeries under BOM scheme for Coal India Ltd. and bids have been submitted for the following washeries:
- Madhubad Washery of BCCL
- Patherdih Washery of BCCL
- Dugda Washery of BCCL
- Ashok Washery of CCL
- Basundhara Washery of MCL
- Jagannath Washery of MCL
Technology & Design
The group has a team of mineral beneficiation engineers with vast experience in design, setting up, operation and management at our Bikhaji Cama Place office at New Delhi. The group also has experienced engineers located at various work sites.
Monnet Group has a well established state of the art technology laboratory at our Kalari (Ranchi) washery in NK Coalfields, a Research and Development laboratory with most sophisticated equipment for testing coal built at Raigarh (Chattisgarh).
Monnet Group has gained requisite technical experience and expertise in planning, designing, establishing, operating and maintaining Coal washing plants by various State Electricity Boards viz.
I. Monnet Daniel Coal Washeries Private Limited & Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) to set up a coal washery of 4.2 MMTPA capacity in North Karanpura region of of CCL command area.
II. J-Coal Washery Monnet Group is also constructing another washery of 2.0 MMTPA capacity, on Varvwave Jig Technology, in technical collaboration with J-Coal ( Japan Coal Energy Center) of Japan, in Orissa for its captive use.
III. Raigarh Coal Washery : A washery of 6.0 MMTPA capacity is under construction for Monnet’s Integrated Steel Plant at Raigarh based on Heavv Media Cyclone separation process.
