Export – Iron Ore Fines

Monnet Group has been the second largest manufacturer of Sponge Iron in India with installed capacity of 800,000 MT per annum. It has mastered the process for production of a highly metalized product suitable for all kinds of steel making processes. It has interests in large tracts of deposits in neighboring areas of its production units to create security of raw materials especially Iron ore and coal’.

A suitable setup exists at the transport hub at Barbil near  which co ordinates the logistics of raw material movement from the mines to the plants and to the ports for loading on to vessels for export.

Substantial quantities of Iron Ore exports have been effected by Monnet Group to various destinations especially to the Far East and Middle East countries. A technical regime has been put in place to effect exports including modern testing labs to check and monitor the quality of the material supplied. Third party inspection from Llyods Register, KPMG and other reputed agencies is also available for the discerning customers.
