The Monnet Group ventured in manufacturing sector initially by producing ferro-alloys at Raipur.
These are alloys of iron with elements such as chromium, manganese, silicon, tungsten, molybdenum or vanadium. The Monnet Group portfolio of ferro-alloys includes vital alloys such as Ferro Manganese (Fe-Mn) and Silico-Manganese (Si-Mn). These are supplied in diverse of shapes and forms from billets and ingots to powders, fillers and allied reinforcements.
Ferro alloys are used in the steel making process for introducing alloying elements into the molten metal or as de-oxidizing agents.
Currently the entire production is made for captive purposes in the production of value added steel products.
