A brief profile of each Board Members is as follows:

Mr. M.S. Gujral, Chairman is an M.A. from Punjab University. He is the former Chairman of the Railway Board and also the former Chairman of Coal India Limited (CIL).

Mr. Sandeep Jajodia, Exec. Vice Chairman & MD has rich experience in diversified activities such as manufacturing, Trading & International Marketing. He has led the group’s activities from the front. It is his visionary attributes that has manifested in the diversification of businesses and enlargement of the value chain both in upstream and downstream sectors.

Mr. K.K. Khanna, Executive Director has superannuated as Director (Technical) & Board Member of Steel Authority of India Ltd., the largest steel producing company of India. He is Mechanical Engineer from Birla Institute of Technology. He is Gold Medalist in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai. He has also an LLB and a MBA degree from Delhi University. He was also Director and Board Member of Indian Iron and Steel Company Ltd.

Mr. P.L. Nene, Director is a Technocrat and former Chairman of Madhya Pradesh State Electricity Board. He has vast experience in the management of Power Plants and has been extensively managed power generation and distribution.

Mr. J.P. Lath, Director, is a graduate and has more than 30 years experience in commercial activities in various companies including Mukand and Parie. He has ample experience in making compliance of various statutes applicable to a manufacturing unit of large scale and liaise with various Central/State Governments Departments in connection therewith. He also has ample exposures in legal matters.

Mr. V.N. Kedia, Director is a graduate and is presently General Manager in one of the Group companies. His key competencies are in the areas of Purchase, Stores, Projects and Commercial issues.

Mr. G.C. Mrig, Director, is a graduate in Mining Engineering from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. He is an AISM as well as a 1st Class First Pickering Medalist. He retired as Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Bharat Coking Coal Limited.
