As a responsible Corporate Monnet  Group is doing its bit in saving our Planet from Global Warming. The Company’s Raipur Power Plant has been registered with United Nations Framework convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) under the Kyoto Protocol and consequent thereto; the company is able to sell certified Emission Reduction (CERs) units.

Coal Bed Methane:

Mining of coal and associated operations gives Monnet  Group requisite know-how to develop suitable methodologies by the use of modern technologies for capturing methane associated with coal seams. Currently plans are under way to join large players in this domain and play an important role in development & extraction of cold bed methane. This endeavor is towards saving of waste energy as well as  saving the environment from Green House Gases.
